Meet Sidecar Bob

Exploding onto and into “the scene” in 2019, Sidecar (as he is known by his friends) entertains, enthralls and occasionally upsets audiences with his unique performances.

His chilled-out ACOUSTIC COVERS set includes numbers from Oasis, Bowie, Creedance Clearwater, Pulp, Beatles, Faces, Elton, Rod, ELO, Paul Simon, Stones, Tom Petty and many more… Basically old-school rock/pop with a particular appeal to those with a tinge of grey in their hair (Bob’s hair only has a tinge of its original colour).

Unfairly described by critics as “a uniquely un-commercial blend of folk, protest, contemplation and despair”, his ORIGINALS collection demands attention, and sometimes actually gets it.

Sidecar Bob is proud to have released four live original albums, available on Spotify, YouTube Music, Amazon Music and all fabulous outlets.

Sidecar Bob’s reputation extends the length and breadth of his street and, almost unbelievably, he is now actually available for hire by any person (without the need for any vetting OR health-checks).

Perhaps best of all, Bob cleans up after himself nicely and any potential venue will hardly know he’s been there – no screwed up set-list, no gaffa tape hanging off the dart-board…give him the hoover and he’d be happy to run it round. Be honest, what other world-class act comes with that guarantee?.. Probably only Leo Sayer and that’s it…

Over the years, Paul (Bob’s long-standing* manager, publicist, agent and spirit guide) has been a constant source of support, friendship and disappointment. In Bob’s own words: “I couldn’t have done it without him”.
